The Allergic Audience by Joan Greening is a delightfully sharp and laugh‑out‑loud comedy from award‑winning playwright Joan Greening. Set at the brink of curtain up with no audience in sight, the play follows two quirky theatre volunteers — Pandora, earnest and idealistic, and Barbara, bombastic and hilariously allergic to pretty much everything. These two very different women spar, clash and ultimately discover unexpected common ground. Full of witty one‑liners, clever character work, and a surprising warmth beneath the jokes, this comedy explores loneliness, friendship, and the absurdities of live theatre with heart and humour.

Directed by Mo Hjorth

Starring: Carol Bennett and Gay Curren

The Actor's Nightmare by Christopher Durang opens as an unassuming man wanders about an empty stage before a performance. Mistaken for the star's understudy, he is thrust into the leading role. Soon, this confused man finds himself ad-libbing his way through an unidentified play that seems to transform itself into cracked versions of Noel Coward, Shakespeare, and Samuel Beckett. His dismay and panic grows when he realises that the final scene is from A Man For All Seasons , and not just any scene - the execution scene - and the executioner's axe looks very real and very sharp!

Directed by John Galagher

Starring: Paul Armstrong, Peter Chidiac, John Galagher, Graeme Healy, Wendy Morris and Jasmine van Aalst,
